Other artifacts from Timor
This section brings together objects that do not fall into the other categories: engraved metal discs (belak), worn as chest ornaments and associated with the meo, the warrior; combs, spoons and containers; ceremonial headdresses; surik, the traditional sword; and betel equipment.
Some of these objects had a ritual function, others belonged to everyday use, and the boundary between the two is not always clear: the same forms and motifs recur across both.
