Cm 6,5 // 2.5"    140 g ca.

Authentic man silver bracelet, massive and with elaborated classic design. I have acquired it directly from the shaman (dukun) of Billa village, Paulus Nitiano, that I have met to interview him in the context of the research that I have conducted onto the tribal artifact and animists beliefs in West Timor nowadays ( see the interview at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCRjmSN7zB5xfWuEKTXoDnEA ).

When I met him he was celebrating the ceremony for the construction of a new canal for irrigation. (I have arrived there late and could not assist to the whole ceremony, that included the sacrifice of a chicken.
Paulus Nitiano is one of the few shaman (dukun) remained nowadays, he is an honorable chief and highly considerated in all Timor Tengah Selatan for his magic and shamanic skills. The interview with him will be part of the essay that I am going to publish soon.
Amazing museum piece.
