This remarkable and rare object was a divination tool. In particular it was used to predict the outcome of the harvest (a very important point for communities that survived thanks to the cultivation of corn). Some water was poured in the cavity on the top and closed by the stopper. After some days, they would lift the stopper and if the water was still there they deduced that the harvest would have been good, otherwise bad.

It is made of bamboo root (bulb), decorated with a plaque depicting a female face in relief topped by a protruding horn. The cutted branches, as long as the stopper are decorated with burnings.
