ENG: On offer is an authentic door from a Timorese hut, intricately carved from solid wood and originating from the Insana district. At the top, a crocodile is depicted, followed by two protrusions symbolizing female breasts, representing abundance. Further down, a quadrangular section is engraved with traditional geometric spiral motifs. Below that, in relief, is a female figure. The item is in good condition, with traces of erosion at the bottom, as highlighted in the photos, and other minor signs of use.

ITA: Autentica porta di una capanna timorese, finemente scolpita in legno massello, proveniente dal distretto di Insana, Timor Occidentale. Nella parte superiore è raffigurato un coccodrillo, seguito da due protuberanze simboleggianti i seni femminili, simbolo di abbondanza. Ulteriormente verso il basso, una sezione quadrangolare presenta incisioni con motivi geometrici tradizionali a spirale. Ancora più in basso, in rilievo, è presente una figura femminile. L'oggetto si presenta in buone condizioni, con tracce di erosione nella parte inferiore, evidenziate nelle foto, e altri segni minori di utilizzo.
